Arthrex Inc. is actively searching for a Wellnes Cafe Attendant to contribute to Arthrex experience, by providing exceptional customer service to all of our internal, and external guests, who visit the Arthrex Wellness Center. This is accomplished by providing prompt service, quality beverages, and a clean, organized work area, while acting in accordance to supervisors expected personable code of conduct.. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Please note, this position is located in Naples, FL and will be housed within the Arthrex Wellness Center. The ideal candidate should be flexible and willing to work from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday and occasional weekends. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™. 

 

We are also offering a $750.00 sign on bonus (minus appropriate tax withholdings), You will be paid the $750.00 during your first pay period.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce and distribute beverages and food in the Arthrex Wellness Cafe. This will include, but not be limited to: Smoothie’s, Energy Drinks, Coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, latte, tea, sparkling water, snacks, breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.
• Demonstrate a positive work attitude, contributing to the exceptional experience our guests expect.
• Provide legendary customer service, anticipating needs, and evaluating the environment for any potential changes.
• Ability to be self-motivated, initiate conversation, connect with customers and act with integrity and honesty.
• Must keep the Cafe Bar clean, proactively taking the initiative to vacuum, sanitize, wash, and organize all of the area and equipment.
• Work closely with the Wellness Director, and be utilized in other areas of the facility when needed.

 

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of Customer Service experience required.
• 1 year of restaurant/culinary related experience.
• Smoothie Bar experience preferred.
• Must speak English fluently, Bi-lingual a plus

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Serve-Safe certification preferred.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

General knowledge of kitchen equipment, its functions and operational technique.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements. 

 

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
