The IT Support Specialist will provide 1st and 2nd call IT support to Abilities First end users. They will be the escalation point for the Helpdesk Technician, handling tier 2 issues. The IT Support Specialist will be integral in the planning and execution of IT projects across the agency. They must be able to identify IT-related issues and strategize for long-term planning using the information available regarding the issues. The IT Support Specialist will also aid in maintaining network asset accountability, training of end users in IT-related applications/procedures/hardware, and work with the other members of the IT Team in providing outstanding end user support to all staff and individuals receiving services.
Location: This position will primarily be based out of our Orange County NY location. This position will be required to travel to other Orange County NY sites, with occasional travel to Dutchess County
Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 1st shift, 40 hours per week.
Compensation: $56,560-$60,715, offer based on education, experience and credentials/certifications
Position Standards
· Provide effective 1st and 2nd call hardware/software/network support for all locations.
· Independent and able to research solutions as well as escalate to peers for more guidance.
· Maintain documentation in SharePoint, Teams, and Helpdesk Knowledge Base.
· Effectively communicate with team members and end users across various communication systems and tools.
· Provision, deploy, and manage Windows 10 and 11 OS machines.
· Maintenance and updating Windows Server 2016-2019.
· Experience managing users and computers in Active Directory.
· Provision, install, and manage site networks.
· Drive IT innovation and network improvements at all sites.
· Accountability of equipment, software, and services for all sites.
· Experience with MDM solutions to manage remote and mobile devices.
· Provides training and support to employees during agency orientation and as needed.
· Ensures all trainings and certifications required are current, and seeks further support and training where needed.
· Adhere to agency Code of Legal and Ethical Behavior, which require all employees, consultants, board members, volunteers and affiliates to perform their responsibilities according to ethical and legal standards with honesty, integrity, fairness, good faith and respect for others and the law.
· Follows all agency policy and procedures and demonstrates continuous regard to personal safety and the safety of others.
· Performs other appropriate job-related activities as requested by your supervisor or as circumstances warrant.
· Demonstrates proficiency in all goals and skillsets required, on which performance will be evaluated.

Requirements
· Four (4) or more years of Information Technology experience, including but not limited to deploying and maintaining desktop and mobile computers, printer/copier, basic network elements, VoIP phones, and iPads in a corporate environment, OR an Associates Degree in Information Technology or related degree, OR a combination of two (2) or more entry-level IT certifications in desktop, network or Apple devices.
· Ability to effectively communicate and train non-technical users on basic computer use.
· Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and willing to drive to various sites across Dutche
