We have a great opportunity for a hands-on Warehouse Manager that’s passionate about using reports to improve our operations and has good people management skills! As a Warehouse Manager you oversee our warehouse functions including receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, counter sales, and inventory control.
Compensation:
We’re looking for a manager who:
- Set the direction and oversee the warehouse operations including receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, counter sales, and inventory control. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
- Lead Warehouse Supervisors and Counter Supervisor by setting goals and focusing on continuous improvement and associate development.
- Possess knowledge of each warehouse role (e.g. Picking, packing, receiving and shipping) and equipment used e.g. RF scanner, wire cutting machine, forklift.
- Solve most complex warehouse issues and partner with external and internal customers to deliver high customer satisfaction.
- Analyze warehouse pain points and implement process improvements by collaborating with stakeholders
- Learn and maximize capabilities of ERP software Solar Eclipse to improve warehouse operations.
- Serve as a safety ambassador regularly covering safety tips and correcting unsafe practices.
- Provide input and proactively monitor the warehouse’s budget to capitalize on efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience managing teams in a medium-sized warehouse environment
- Strong leadership skills and proven experience driving behaviors that lead to great results
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to maintain a calm demeanor under stressful situations
- Excellent communications skills by phone, email, verbal and written forms of communication to deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Knowledge of industry safety best practices and OSHA
- Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacket. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation
- Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills
