Description
The Department of Marketing in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for a Professor of Practice (50% FTE), career-track position beginning August 2026.
Essential Functions:
Contribute to the School’s mission in the areas of teaching and service. Participate in teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses and curriculum development related to marketing with an emphasis on artificial intelligence, growth marketing, professional sales, product management, and marketing research. Engage in service activities which may include helping to develop, execute, and lead student-focused events and activities, supervising student organizations, directing Honors theses, coaching marketing competition teams, and participating on Department, W. P. Carey School of Business, and/or University committees.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business (or a related field)
• Ten or more years of experience working in a marketing-related role(s)
Desired Qualifications:
• Demonstrated excellence in the area of marketing
• Demonstrated knowledge of artificial intelligence through innovative teaching practices, cutting-edge research, and/or thought leadership in academic or professional communities
• Significant experience leading the marketing function for an organization
• Demonstrated ability to teach marketing within an academic or corporate setting
• Evidence of ability to innovate and work collaboratively to achieve goals
• Graduate degree in business or relevant field
