Our goal is to bring in the critical data into our Global Data Platform and make it available via Data marketplace for broader adoption of the platform and democratize data. We are looking for colleagues who are passionate about data and who enjoy building data solutions from the ground up and/ or migrate from existing data platforms. Also be equally comfortable working with business partners to understand requirements as you are developing and delivering robust solutions that meet the highest standards. Last, thrive and excite to learn new technologies and working in the cloud. </p> <p>The managed projects typically exhibit complexity, risk, and impact on the company and a multi-stakeholders matrix to be managed. The individual is expected to continue developing both their expertise in project management methodologies and, whilst this is not a technical role, a further appreciation of our underlying enterprise data architectures, processes and technologies in particular Cloud platforms. </p> <p>This incumbent manages the project lifecycle, and applicants must have practical expertise in successful delivery. The remit encompasses:  stakeholder engagement, project initiation including the capture and communication of project goals and objectives; vendor engagement and work estimation based on the optimal mix of resources and rates at the appropriate time; project planning at a level of detail sufficient to identify dependencies, resources, timelines and cost breakdowns; plan execution and tracking of delivery and quality against requirements, milestones and budgets; management of the resource profile and utilisation; progress reporting to business stakeholders; risk and issue management and contingency planning. </p> <p>In summary, the individual will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large and complex projects in accordance with customer expectations, quality commitments and delivery schedules. </p> <p>It is expected that the candidate has a very pro-active and positive attitude, is open to feedback, have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, good leadership skills. </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure projects have defined objectives and goals which are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely </li> <li>Ensure projects follow appropriate governance and compliance processes and any deviations are captured, communicated and approved via the appropriate channels </li> <li>Ensure projects deliver the benefits on time, to budget and with the appropriate level of quality </li> <li>Ensure that the Chubb Development methodology is followed by all staff on the project, and that any variations to the standard process are authorised by the PMO. </li> <li>Ensure that resources providing project governance are aware of their roles and responsibilities. </li> <li>Ensure that progress is measured against the schedule, that corrective action is taken and that project governance is operated via fortnightly status reporting and monthly steering group meetings. Manage trade-offs between scope, quality, time and cost in accordance with the Critical Success Factors as the project progresses. </li> <li>Manage production of required project deliverables as defined in the project plan. </li> <li>Identify and manage changes to the project’s scope, ensuring that impact assessments are undertaken, that appropriate authorisation is secured and that adjustments to plans are made and communicated to all stakeholders. </li> <li>Implement clear escalation procedures, identify and manage project issues and risks, and ensure that contingency plans are prepared and actioned in a timely fashion. Where issues will take the project outside of project or stage tolerance, prepare an exception plan for approval by the steering group and, upon approval, action the plan in a timely manner. </li> <li>Increase
