Position Summary
The Manager - DDAT Business Management, will be responsible for driving efficiency, transparency, and cost-reductions across a given portfolio(s) via the management of the Digital Asset lifecycle. This role will support a set of assets for key operational areas that enable engineering teams to deliver and maintain high quality software powering compelling Digital experiences for our customers in a scaled organization. This role will report to the Lead Director, DDAT Business Management and be responsible for partnering with Architecture, Engineering, Finance and Procurement leaders to create key artifacts, implement processes and control points which ensure the continued effectiveness of the organization with an emphasis on cost reduction, containment, and value.
Key components of the role will be managing a set of assets through the Renewal Pipeline, vendor financial reconciliation via collaboration with Finance and Procurement and contributing to the maintenance of DDAT Business Management tools and artifacts. This role contributes heavily to the planning and decision making of the tools and assets, leveraged by Engineering that are used to design, build, and maintain software supporting the product development and experiences. This role will support initiatives focused on introducing simplicity in operational practices, optimizing, and containing costs while increasing effectiveness of Partner/Vendor Operations, 3rd party asset strategy and management. Collaboration across multiple partners within Enterprise Digital including Finance, Procurement, Operations groups, Human Resources, Agile PMO, Product Management, Design, Procurement, Contract Management and Legal will be central to the success of the role.
The role requires a background in Finance and Technology with an emphasis on how architectural concepts including platforms, languages, frameworks, libraries, tools, and other technologies are applied to deliver value within large-scale and complex organizations. In addition, the candidate must have experience with, and extensive knowledge and awareness of technology vendors in the Digital or Information Technology space. Experience with concepts and key industry players and products in PaaS, SaaS, Web and Enterprise tools and applications is critical. The candidate must be proficient in delivering initiatives and possess/display a proficiency in financial planning and tracking coupled with stakeholder and relationship management, team building, advocacy, business communications, and organizational skills.
The ideal candidate is a capable, influential, and trusted subject matter expert with the ability to foster and maintain relationships across the enterprise and its affiliate businesses. In addition, demonstrated capability to concurrently drive efficiency and performance will be key.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Procurement Management
- 5+ years of experience with Vendor Management
- 5+ years of experience with Project Management
- 3+ years of leadership/team building experience with a demonstrated record of coaching, building strong cross-functional alliances, and motivating resources and partners to achieving shared goals
- 5+ years of experience in negotiation strategies /procedures, purchasing / contract management systems, expertise with complex RFPs
- 5+ years of experience with delivering formal communications to senior business leaders and key external business partners
- 5+ years of Vendor Management / Consolidation Experience across a large-scale portfolio
- 5+ years of experience with building project financial models
- 3+ years of data collection and analysis methods
- Strong Analytical experience
- Experience managing 230-250 vendors. Will be responsible for vendor renewals, vendor negotiations, Secure T&Cs, Approval, Finance Review.
- Demonstrated understanding of contract language.
- Solid background as a Procurement PM.
