Lead Director FP&A – HCD DDAT Finance

Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity at CVS Health for a Shared Services finance in DDAT Finance – HCD Lead Director role!

As the Health Care Delivery (HCD) DDAT – Lead Director FP&A, you will be part of the DDAT FP&A team supporting the financials of HCD DDAT. You will have the opportunity to use your management and organizational skills and logic to lead various efforts for the HCD DDAT team, which will have a profound impact on the company.

A Brief Overview
Provides strategic leadership and oversight for financial planning and analysis functions by managing a team of financial analysts, coordinating budgeting and forecasting processes, providing guidance on financial strategy, and collaborating with stakeholders to align financial goals with business objectives. Ensures accurate financial reporting, drives process improvements, and contributes to strategic planning and risk assessment.

What you will do

  • Develops processes and implements the organization's financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Communicates strategic financial analysis and insights to support decision-making at the executive level.
  • Controls the forecasting process to provide accurate and timely financial forecasts and projections by analyzing financial data, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Administers in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis to identify areas of improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue enhancement strategies.
  • Communicates with top management to support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights, guidance, and recommendations to drive business performance and achieve financial goals.
  • Designs risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization's financial position and ensures compliance with financial regulations and internal control procedures.
  • Contributes to streamlining financial planning and analysis processes, enhancing data accuracy, and improving efficiency.
  • Guides management for individual performance evaluations aimed to provide critical feedback for skills development and depth of work area experience.
  • Manages operational aspects of the team, and implements workforce and succession plans to meet business goals.


For this role you will need Minimum Requirements

  • 10-15 years of FP&A experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Technology FP&A Background
  • Certified Corporate FP&A Professional (FPAC) preferred.
  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
  • Adept at business intelligence
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Mastery of problem solving and decision making skills
  • Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills


Education
 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
