Facilities Operations Technical Watch - Night Shift

Qualifications:

• Perform multiple technical skills in two or more of the following disciplines:  HVAC, electrical, process piping, mechanical, instrumentation, waste water treatment, and UPW systems. Ability to interpret complex multi-disciplined schematics, drawings, O&M manuals. Knowledge and operation of personal computers and CMMS systems. Working knowledge of local, state, and national building and environmental codes. Understanding of industry and site equipment. Basic troubleshooting skills.
• 5-10 years’ experience with facility systems and electrical controls preferred
• Electrical license is not required but is preferred
• Skilled in troubleshooting and installation of FMCS Provox and Emerson Delta V BAS systems.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and installation of Variable Frequency Drives.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and installation of instrumentation and controls.
• Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination to manipulate and control hand tools and equipment
• Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination to manipulate and control hand tools and equipment
• Requires physical ability to work in temperature extremes
• Requires physical ability to work in labor intensive assignments for up to 12 hrs.
• Requires physical ability to maneuver in tight locations effectively and safely
• Requires physical ability to lift to 40 pounds or push/pull up to 60 pounds
• Requires physical ability to work around or near chemicals or residues such as acids, solvents, oils and grease
• Required to respond to emergencies/outages
• Requires medical surveillance and to be SCBA/APR approved
• Required to work off-shift, weekend, and holidays
• Proficient in use of Maintenance Connection
