Developing features for our single page web applications in Typescript using React
Working on common components in our customer experience monorepo that are used by multiple web applications and tested using Storybook
Taking requirements from idea to implementation including work estimation, collaboration with our product team, development, testing, code review and deployment
Actively collaborating with the other engineers on the squad through code reviews, pair programming, interactive design sessions and team retrospectives
Developing automated tests using Jest, Cypress or other tools

Requirements:

2+ years software development experience including experience developing web applications using React, Angular or a similar Javascript-based framework
Work with GraphQL to access REST APIs and retrieve data
Familiarity in using AI-powered tools for software development, such as GitHub Copilot, for tasks including code review, writing unit tests and code generation
Experience working in an agile environment such as SCRUM or Kanban is a plus
Bachelor's degree required

Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $100,000 - $130,000. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
