Senior Accountant - Record to Report
From Record to Report, we are currently providing the accounting for most of the SKF companies in the North EMEA region. Our team consists of Chief Accountants, Accountants, and Experts in specific processes and we are working with many different systems.
We have recently taken the next step in changing the way of working from transition to transformation. We have an exciting future ahead of us, with an updated finance strategy. Finance will a have powerful role in the digital environment, and we want to be in the frontline of the next generation of Business Finance. We have Business Excellence as SKF’s version of Lean, and we have just started the journey to Global Finance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and execute accounting activities with high quality
- Be responsible for specific month-end closing activities in a company or process leasing, and manage account reconciliations
- Supervise specific financial reporting areas or a specific company on an everyday basis
- Be responsible for preparing financial reports for different legal entities/areas
- Drive and coordinate reporting improvements and use SKF Business Excellence as the tool to reach future goals
- Be involved in projects related to the R2R process
- Support the Chief Accountants
Requirements
- University graduate with wide experience working in the Accounting/Finance area or similar
- Experience in SAP or other ERP-system and used to be finance process-oriented
- Experience in IFRS
- Computer literacy is essential and experience in MS office applications (excellent command of MS Excel is a must)
- Up to date standard knowledge of corporate and local accounting rules
- Fluency in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden. Local contract in SKF Sweden.
You will report to the Delivery Manager - Record to Report, located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
