Task requirements   This role involves being the main Co-ordinator for G1 Assurance for the Army - this includes forming the policy for G1A, liaison with all external G1A content policy holders and giving directions on G1A to Army formations. The incumbent will also be the custodian of the Service Funds Regulations and the policy holder of the Serivice (Charitable) Funds.

Domestic Considerations: FTRS (HC) post, some travel away from home station may be required for Briefs/Meetings.

Role is Andover based. Hybrid working is possible but there is a requirement for a minimum of three days per week (60%) in office in Andover.

Position Role: Develop policy, direction, and provide advice on the delivery of Pers Admin, Public Funds and Service (Charitable) Funds assurance

Responsibilities:
1.  Develop policy for the delivery of G1A across Army TLB and ensure it remains compliant with current legislation.
2.  Responsible for the development, production and maintenance of G1A and the management of assessment tools that support it.
3.  Maintain currency of G1A within ARMS2 and review to ensure coherence with current legislation, Army risk tolerance and Defence and sS policy, including ACSOs 9001 & 9011.
4.  Provide quarterly trend and risk analysis, from ARMS2 data, in order to inform wider Defence and sS risk management and policy modification.
5.  Advise the Functional Chain on all areas of G1A including legislative breaches and specific areas of non-compliance.
6.  Lead for the delivery of Service (Charitable) Funds policy within Army TLB and liaison with Charity Commission. 
7.  Line management and 1RO responsibilities for SA Compliance and Governance.
8.  Deputise for SO1 Trg & Assurance as necessary and any other duties as directed by SO1 Trg & Assurance. Essential competencies   Lead Auditors Course (attendance on appointment) Desirable competencies   ICSC
