Regional Network Leader East
Position Summary
The Regional Network Leader East will be responsible for the growth of Guardian’s PPO and DHMO dental networks in the east region. You will lead a team of dental network recruiters who will use innovative and timeless recruitment strategies that enhance network size and achieve target discount levels. You will provide input to support continued development of systems and processes to enhance efficiencies and results and be responsible for performance management of the regional team. The Regional Network Leader monitors and controls budget expenses and provides both tactical and strategic leadership to the East Recruiting team. You will consult with distribution within the South and East Sales and Client Management organizations to assess and resolve priority markets annually and ensure network strength to achieve dental growth goals. The expectation of this role is to focus on the balancing of metrics management with forward thinking strategies. This will require a skill that can quickly implement contingent strategies to lead the metrics but also requires having industry awareness to understand what is needed to ensure we continue to be a competitive leader.
You Will
- Lead a team of Recruiters responsible for the growth of Guardian’s proprietary dental networks.
- Develop MSA level goals in partnership with Guardian’s Pricing and Actuary team.
- Hire, train, and hold team accountable to established guidelines set to meet regional goals.
- Lead the efforts and results of the recruiting staff, and provide ongoing coaching, development and strategic planning direction.
- Provide regional market intelligence coupled with competitive industry data that will help with the evaluation and development of fee schedules.
- Negotiate (as appropriate) with actuaries on final fee schedule.
- Ensure that reimbursement levels will allow for successful recruitment results and are fiscally competitive for the Company.
- Provide partner support and collaborate with the South and East distribution regions as it pertains to network strength and positioning.
- Provide industry intelligence to support innovative ideas to separate Guardian’s network from key competitors.
- Direct and successfully complete recruitment strategies and implement contingent strategies as deemed necessary.
- Develop and inspire the team by providing business updates that align the team's objectives with the goals of the organization while maintaining an environment of trust.
- Actively provide developmental activities to staff and candid feedback.
- Promote culture of openness, trust, inclusion, and learning.
You Have
- Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 10+ years in non-medical, ancillary benefits. Group Benefits experience preferred.
- Leadership accountability for developing and implementing internal and external reporting packages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead while adapting to changing business priorities and environments and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong executive presence and public speaking skills including presentation to senior leadership, as well as field partners.
- Consistent track record of exceptional performance, having delivered quantifiable impact on company revenue and profitability.
- Confirmed execution-oriented people leader with exceptional ability to hire and inspire teams creating commitment.
- Track record of collaborating cross functionally to solve complex business problems and navigate constantly evolving macro trends.
Location & Travel
This is a flexible position requiring 2 days per week in office, with preference given to candidates within commuting proximity to a Guardian office.
Will consider remote candidates if experience is aligned and ability to travel to Guardian offices as determined by the People Leader.
Frequent business travel is expected as part of this role.
Salary Range
$82,660.00 - $135,805.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
