Develops, designs, and administers technical security systems. Provides technical guidance and procedures for Raytheon customer-sponsored security systems/networks.

Provides support for unclassified, proprietary, and government classified security system/network requirements. Designs and supervises all installations of security systems for Collins Aerospace Applied Signal Technology company buildings, government project closed areas and security control centers.

Manages the ongoing maintenance of security, fire, access control, video surveillance systems, intercom, and other related electronic security and communication systems/networks. Establishes technical security policies in line with national standards and corporate guidelines. Conducts technical security classes, as needed. Administers UL 2050 certifications for fire and security UL 2050 approved systems. Assists in the investigation of ethics violations and criminal matters by providing data, video, and system reports.

Additional duties may include assisting the Physical Security Sr Manager or Manager in the areas of site security surveys, criminal investigations and managing a small security contract workforce for San Jose, California, Anaheim, California and Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Must be subject matter expert with: CCure 9000 software, Avigilon Control Center software, surveillance cameras, DMP intrusion alarm systems, and other ancillary physical security device(s). Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Windows Servers and networking protocols that are required to perform daily duties.

Qualifications You Must Have :

• A minimum of 5+ years prior relevant experience in physical security.

• Experience providing technical guidance and procedures for security systems/networks.

• Experience with the ongoing maintenance of security, fire, access control, video surveillance systems, intercom, and other related electronic security and communication systems/networks

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required 

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance 

• Willing to travel on company business up to 15%.

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
