Senior Scientist - Projects will serve as a senior Project Leader on the Cottonelle® Flushable Wipes team. This role will provide project leadership, ensuring successful development, commercialization and launch of products, building from consumer insights to product design and market launch. This role will work in conjunction with R&D team members and cross-functional partners from Marketing, Sales,

Supply Chain, Quality and Manufacturing to execute projects. This role reports to the R&D Senior Manager for Cottonelle® Flushable Wipes.

In this role, you will:

Serve as the project and process leader for medium to large projects for the Cottonelle® dry bathroom tissue business. This role will provide cross functional project leadership to ensure successful commercialization and launch of products that meet project success criteria and business financial goals through IMF, including primary point of coordination and interface with Research and Engineering, Marketing, Product Supply, Supply Chain, Finance, Go-to-Market, Sales, and Mill Operations.

· Drive alignment across functional areas and gain alignment from business team on the approach/milestones for project.

· Drive key business decisions relative to project launch timelines, success criteria and resourcing

· Provide direction and coaching to project team members and junior members of the team in the same area of discipline.

· Effectively plan and complete project responsibilities on time.

· Ensure communication of project plans and results to internal stakeholders and other team members.

· Provide protection to technologies and products through appropriate use of patents and trade secrets.

· Lead a cross-functional R&D team to deliver project goals, identifying and driving learning plans, managing project timelines, and driving adherence to key dates/deliverables to ensure project is on-track.

· Lead programs focused on the development and commercialization of tissue innovation.

· Work closely with Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance teams, among others, to achieve project goals; significant influence without authority required.

· Provide work direction, while coaching and mentoring members of the cross-functional R&D team. · Ensure all work complies with Corporate Safety, Regulatory, Product Safety, and Quality requirements. · Document knowledge and report research and development work as required by R&D policy and IP needs.
