About This Role

The Enterprise Application Services (EAS) Stakeholder Success Lead (SSL) – Demand Management is a hands-on leader who will manage the EAS demand intake and resource capacity process based upon Business and IT prioritization alignment.  This role will be required to work in conjunction with IT Functional Stakeholder Success Leads and EAS Service Delivery Managers as the central point of contact and coordination between EAS and other IT Functional Leadership areas for work intake.   In this way, the position calls for a unique, influential leader that has a firm understanding of both Technical Delivery and Business Capability that can serve as both conduit and single point of escalation.  Key areas of focus will include managing the work intake, facilitating prioritization, sharing the work plan, monitoring the progress, and reporting to all levels of the IT organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Implement governance and operating model for EAS Demand Management in conjunction with Enterprise Demand Management and EAS DevOps Process Management Best Practices
  • Implement Governance Model and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance with other functions.
  • Facilitate across all delivery teams to ensure that work intake is accurately categorized, prioritized, and assigned to the appropriate Leads.
  • Identify bottlenecks, patterns and process improvements.
  • Ensure timely demand planning and forecasting for EAS is made per business needs.
  • Work with Service Delivery Management to arrive at optimized solution and plan to deliver on business needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to understand pipeline trends and release issues.
  • Ensure that the demand plan is aligned with financial objectives.
  • Act as conduit between Functional Stakeholder Success and EAS.
  • Act as an escalation point between Functional Stakeholder Success, Service Delivery.
  • Publish metrics and reports to stakeholders, within and outside EAS organization.
  • Work with Stakeholder Success Leads to set prioritization criteria for requests based on business value, complexity, and other fulfillment variables.

The ideal candidate is process-oriented, loves to connect people, manage projects timelines, and collaborate / coordinate across boundaries to hit objectives.  This individual must be enthusiastic about facilitating a smooth delivery between the Functional IT needs and the BCCI delivery center in India.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree  (Computer Science or related field preferred) 
  • 7+ years’ experience working as an IT Professional
  • Experience with IT Demand and Capacity Management
  • Experience with IT Services Delivery and/or IT Partner Management
  • Experience with Project, Program, and Portfolio Management methodologies including scrum/agile techniques (preferably SAFe)  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work hands-on and deliver the on-hand demand for the assigned business groups with effective stakeholder management and prioritization.
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and written and verbal communications skills, while employing diplomacy with high-level executives and customers.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new systems and procedures.
  • Exposure to formal forecasting and analytical tools.
  • Ability to seamlessly and effectively adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
  • Exhibits professional attitude and mutual respect always.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the life-sciences/biotech space (strongly preferred)
