About the role

Who are we and what do we do?
Corteva Agriscience intends to separate into two independent companies on or about October 1, 2026; this planned separation is subject to multiple conditions, including final approval of the transaction by its board of directors. It is Corteva’s current intention, should the separation occur, that this position will align with the Seed Company, Vylor, at the time of the intended separation.

The Vylor innovation engine will be anchored in the agriculture industry’s most elite germplasm and transformative biotech. The company will leverage its next generation scientific expertise in disciplines like gene editing and molecular breeding to further strengthen its core business while exploring opportunities to expand to new row crops – and potentially beyond. Vylor will scale these innovations using its leading routes-to-market and by significantly expanding its licensing business.

The Director, ERP Platform Leader is accountable for leading and operating the enterprise ERP platforms as a core strategic technology within Integrated Enterprise Systems (IES). This role owns the end-to-end lifecycle of ERP, including strategy execution, architecture, product lifecycle management, and global platform operations. ERP is treated as an enterprise platform, not a project or single domain system, supporting multiple domains across the business.
This role is expected to operate independently, owning the day-to-day leadership, decisions, and outcomes of the ERP platforms while partnering with Core Technology and broader IES leadership on overall strategy.

This role includes full accountability for building, developing, and leading a global ERP organization, including talent strategy, succession planning, and capability development to support long term enterprise needs.

The role reports to the Core Technology and Foundational Infrastructure Leader.

  • Platform Ownership with Domain Partnership: Domains define outcomes and requirements while the platform enforces standards, reuse, and architectural integrity.
  • Enterprise Decision Leadership: Leads ERP decisions across platform direction, core versus extension design, and investment sequencing and ensures decisions are not relitigated.

What are the ERP Leader’s Skills and Behaviors

  • Technology IQ: Continually builds knowledge of leading and emerging technologies related to ERP and enterprise platforms and participates in industry peer groups.
  • Business IQ: Develops deep understanding of business domains and how they operate within Vylor.
  • Powerful Communicator: Clearly conveys risks, tradeoffs, and value to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Effective IT Partnership Management: Manages strategic partners, managed services, and third-party providers to deliver outcomes.
  • Stays Curious: Understands Vylor strategic and operational challenges and adapts platform direction accordingly.
  • Supports Common Ways of Working: Promotes best practices, innovation, and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Global Leadership Capability: Ability to lead distributed teams across regions, cultures, and time zones while maintaining alignment, accountability, and performance.
