Job Description
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Administrative Assistant 3, Parking and Transportation Services [R0148724]
ROLE of the POSITION
This position will primarily provide customer service, clerical and management support for the Parking & Transportation Service Office. The incumbent will assist with front desk operations, back office operations, and all cashier stations for the Parking & Transportation Services. Duties include but are not limited to: payroll deduction program manager, audit daily receipts and deposits; schedule and coordinate appeal hearings, coordinate with department accounting on all refunds and appeal results, back up support for parking dispatch, develop, recommend and implement business policies and procedures for front desk operations; assist in resolving customer service issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of progressively responsible relevant work experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintenance of complex records and files; public/customer relations including explaining detailed policies, regulations and requirements; preparation and processing of financial and statistical documents such as payroll, travel, claims and budgeting forms; and assisting staff and management with projects and activities; OR one year of experience as an Administrative Assistant II in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
