Overview

Insightsoftware is seeking a Pre Sales Consultant reporting to the Executive Director of Solutions Engineering – North America. This position will handle product demonstrations and pre-sales support for our Sales Executives when selling Solutions to our Customers and Prospects.   

The right candidate has strong executive presence and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate will ideally have a solid functional understanding of Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) systems (specifically Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud ERP/Fusion) and be able to speak to and understand financial planning and reporting challenges faced by companies of all sizes and scope today. Candidate will have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of Financial and Operational Reporting solutions to assess prospect requirements
• Articulate how insightsoftware solutions solve specific business problems
• Work closely with prospects to understand, challenge and define solutions using insightsoftware products
• Deliver online and in person product demonstrations for financial and operational reporting for Oracle ERP customers
• Assist with RFI and RFP document responses
• Work with prospects to define and manage PoC’s (proof of concepts)
• Travel to and present on-site demonstrations as needed
• Deliver presentations to support marketing efforts of our products
• Build relationships to become a trusted solution advisor

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• CPA or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• 5+ years Accounting or Finance Business Analyst or relevant industry experience
• 5+ years related work experience with Oracle EBS/Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP’s and financial/operational reporting tools
• 5+ years’ hands-on Data Management or Data Warehouse and ETL experience
• 5+ years’ experience implementing ERP tools and/or other financial applications
• Strong Knowledge on SQL & PL/SQLInformatica ETL
• Data replication and cloud technologies experience
• Understand financial and month-end reporting requirements
• Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning from a functional perspective
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with multi-dimensional systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Knowledge of ETL data processes
• Experience designing and developing BI reports/dashboards using Oracle OBIEE/OAC and Power BI, Tableau visualization tools

Role Based Competencies

• Previous pre-sales experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers who have varying levels of functional and technical expertise
• Comfortable presenting to and speaking with C-level executives
