Job Description


In this compelling leadership position, you will lead efforts to build, develop, or design functionality for a product, as well as oversee the ongoing implementation, enhancement, or maintenance of existing products.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Capital Markets - Product Management - Director role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Direct the development of the design strategy for new products.
  • Direct the team on the implementation process for new products.
  • Drive implementation for product improvements.
  • Directs a team responsible for the product lifecycle and ongoing maintenance.
  • Define product strategy that is in alignment with business objectives.

 

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM 
 
Minimum Required Experiences: 

  • At least 8 years of relevant product leadership experience
  • Expertise and demonstrated success in creating digital platforms that are readily scalable and re-usable, improving time to market. 
  • Expertise in Digital Transformation and platform thinking. 
  • Experience in product specification techniques: user story mapping, behavior driven development (BDD). 
  • Understanding of and experience in designing products which can rapidly respond to changes in regulatory needs and industry mandates.
  • Experience identifying and selecting strategic options and identifying resources to meet the defined objectives. 
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data. 
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Technologies and awareness of emerging technologies and trends to leverage for creating new business value propositions.


Desired Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Deep understanding of Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading customer discovery, synthesizing a customer experience that addresses value, usability, and feasibility.  Leading rapid iterative cycles with engineering and design that continuously re-balances those 3 objectives.   
  • Continuous Learning and fostering an MVP (minimum viable product) mindset - through discovery and during development. Expertly maximizes value and customer outcomes against cost and time (ROI). 
  • Apply product thinking from the “outside–in” to deliver outcomes for the customer while delivering digital capabilities combined with product thinking and ownership to drive reuse. 
  • Possesses Strong EQ (emotional quotient) and builds strong relationships inside the organization. 
  • Has an acute understanding of how to negotiate through obstacles to launch a successful product and achieve desired outcomes.   
  • Coaching and mentoring stronger Product Managers by providing hands-on support. 
  • Defining techniques to create value proposition (learn about the users, their jobs, pains, gains and create hypothesis of what might solve their problems) and validate it. 
  • Given a leaner organization, “hands on” leadership with the ability to identify and create unique value propositions of the product through a business model canvas and value proposition canvas is required. 
  • Expertise and demonstrated success in productizing API's (application programming interface). 
  • Understand an API design first approach enabling teams to move fast and thoughtfully introduce changes early. 
  • Visual Communication /Storytelling Skills.
