Your Job: Regional Director professional responsible Planning, directing, monitoring, coordinating and evaluating the operations of Methodist Medical Group facilities as directed by the Senior Regional Director within established policies in a manner that provides cost effective quality services. Supports and promotes the vision, mission, and strategic plans of Methodist Health System Your Job Requirements: • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration required. • MBA preferred. • Minimum of 5 years experience managing a group practice of 6 or more physicians. • Very strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products • Superior oral and written communication skills • Strong process orientation • Detail oriented, logical, and methodological approach to problem solving • Ability to provide vision and leadership • Ability to plan and schedule the work of others • Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment Your Job Responsibilities: • Communicate clearly and openly • Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment • Be accountable for your performance • Always look for ways to improve the patient experience • Take initiative for your professional growth • Be engaged and eager to build a winning team • Ensures timely completion of monthly reports including accounts receivable and reports the results to physician clients, office STAFFnd leadership team. • Maintains accounts receivable balance within industry standards at 90 plus days outstanding. • Promotes the value of Methodist Medical Group to its clients • Evaluate and report on managed care activities via reimbursement and contract analysis. • Provide leadership and direction to managers and staff of Methodist Medical Group. • Supports Methodist Medical Group’s mission and vision of Quality Care, outstanding Patient Experience and financial success. • Leads their specific region to meet or exceed their annual goals inclusive of national recognition through benchmarking entities. • Evaluates opportunities and promotes their physicians to grow their practices through marketing, community involvement and patient satisfaction. • In coordination with the Senior Regional Director evaluates new locations for offices. Plans, designs, budgets, supervise construction and opens new offices with the support of other team members. • Provides consultative services to physicians clients. • Stays contemporary with healthcare topics and communicates to physicians, managers and team members of the possible impact of those topics to Methodist Medical Group practices. • Analyze the coding and payment process to maximize contracted reimbursement. • Administer policies and procedures of Methodist Medical Group as needed • Analyze and develop client forms as needed to improve billing operations. • Tailor operating procedures for billing and collections based on client desire in consult with the Director of Billing. • In conjunction with the President, Methodist Medical Group, approach primary care physicians of strategic importance in the targeted region regarding employment opportunities within Methodist Medical Group. • Track and maintain a directory of all primary care physicians in the targeted region and, working with the President, Methodist Medical Group, qualify them for potential employment within Methodist Medical Group.Methodist Medical Group is the North Texas physician organization affiliated with Methodist Health System.
