The Opportunity:

The Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers.  As a Location: Omaha, Nebraska, and surrounding areas.

• You will travel to customer sites and showcase your expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche assigned product lines.

• You will offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory.

• You will provide routine technical support, on-site service, repair, and installation of Roche products.

• You will serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance.

• You will diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.

• You will document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.

*** This is a field-based role, and you will provide primary support within the greater Omaha area. Ideally, you reside within 50 miles of Omaha.
 

Who You Are

• High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking is necessary, 

• OR a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field, plus 1-2 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing complex mechanical, system hardware and software, or networking, or wireless networking.

• Successful completion of training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy.

• Provide support after hours, on weekends and holidays as required

• Possess strong customer service skills to ensure positive customer relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience, OR a Bachelor's degree  (Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field) in a relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience.

• Some IT experience preferred

• Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, and information technology

• Ability to serve as an internal technical resource that can train and mentor other FESs in the region.

Relocation benefits are not available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location in Indiapolis, is $71,000 - $ 132,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
