SA-TECH supports the U.S. Army Sustainment Command’s Enhance Army Global Logistics Enterprise Logistics Support Services at Schofield Barracks, HI. We provide maintenance services in the form of above-brigade-level, field, sustainment, and limited depot-level maintenance support as well as transportation counseling services and handling passenger, equipment, and cargo movements for Army Field Support Battalion Hawaii’s (AFSBn-HAW) assigned tactical units and government affiliated civilian agencies.
We are seeking to hire a Maintenance Support Supervisor to join our Maintenance Division in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii to provide operational and supervisory oversight across all aspects of the division’s support-related services and activities. This position works under the general guidance and supervision the Maintenance Division Manager. This position coordinates and oversees commodity-specific maintenance repair services assigned to the communication-electronic, fire control, and small arms repair sections.
Primary Functions (consist of but are not limited to):
- Provide daily managerial oversight across Production Control and Shop Supply activities, developing and implementing processes and procedures supporting the general work order process while serving as primary point of contact regarding customer procedural inquiries, guidance dissemination, and workload coordination/collaboration efforts.
- This position manages daily activities across Production Control functions related to inbound workload requests in support of US Army maintenance significant tactical and commercial equipment assigned to AFSBn-HI, USAG-HI, 25 ID, 8th TSC, and supported units.
- Oversee all communication efforts and functional tasks related to workload scheduling in synergetic efforts to optimize man-hour capacity with contract funding availability in order to meet work order priority designated turnaround timelines.
- Manage daily activities across Shop Supply functions related to Shop stock / Benchstock management, repair part requisitioning, receipt, storage, property disposal, recoverable item/ORIL management, SDR/PQDR submission, and coordination efforts related to subcontracted outsource repair actions.
- Formulate, prepare, and review required justification and related support documentation for all local purchase acquisition requests prior to submission for government approval.
- Perform daily updates to the Equipment Situations Report and division’s Daily Work Order Summary (M3) report and prepare labor and material cost projections as needed.
- Review a variety of management reports and listings needed measure the health of the division’s support processes while identifying opportunities and developing procedures geared toward continual process improvement.
- Perform self-audits across contract performance measures (PRS) ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions implemented if/when Performance Work Statement ALP/AQL requirements are not met.
- Serve as Assistant Division Manager in times of Maintenance Division Manager absence.
- SOP, training, & lesson plan development.
- Personnel evaluation, counseling & execution of disciplinary actions, leave and timesheet entry/approval.
Requirements
Education/Experience/Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum (8) years supervisory experience in related to Army Maintenance Operations
- Technically proficient across Army Maintenance regulations AR 750-1 & DAP 750-8 (TAMMS)
- High level of proficiency utilizing Logistics Information Systems (LIS): GCSS-A, LIW, WebSDR, DLA FEDMALL, PDREP
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
