Senior DBA

We are now looking for a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Finland and play a key role in supporting our journey.

Who Are You?

You are an experienced and detail-oriented professional with a passion for databases and data integrity. You can combine technical expertise with a collaborative and pragmatic mindset.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 5+ years of experience as a DBA in enterprise environments, preferably in the financial or insurance sector.

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server (and ideally DB2 as well).

• Experience with performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.

• Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

• Experience in cloud-based database solutions (preferably Azure is a strong plus.

• The ability to work with both strategic and hands-on perspectives.

• Fluency in both Finnish and English, spoken and written.

We also value if you have:

• Previous experience with insurance- or financial systems.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools and automation frameworks.

• Knowledge of build-time quality assurance methods

• Interest in mentoring junior colleagues and sharing knowledge.
