Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced financial analyst to join our team in Sant Cugat, Barcelona Spain
You will support PIC's European Leadership team with financial and operational reporting, analysis, and planning.
You will require of course strong analytical, decision making, and communication skills as well as the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
You will have experience supporting analysis and reporting, keen attention to detail, proven follow-up skills, demonstrated leadership skills in a matrixed organizational environment, the ability to understand and translate business strategy into tactical objectives.
Reporting to the directly to the European FP&A Senior Manager, this is an office based role
You Will
- Develop appropriate metrics for the business to measure growth, profitability, expense control, efficiency, and productivity;
- Deliver innovative, high value-added financial information to the management team for strategic decision making
- Develop robust planning models to capture key revenue and Cost of Goods Sold drivers for key product lines
- Support detailed operating expense analysis focused on key functional organizations
- Drive improvements in reporting accuracy, timeliness, and insightfulness
- Support operational reviews and scorecards with senior management
- Ensure on-going communication and dialogue with key stakeholders across PIC
- Support ad-hoc tasks and various business projects to improve processes and increase productivity
- Enhance Business Intelligence capabilities and processes, automating whenever possible.
- Support monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial results
- Support sales commission reporting and analysis
- Review and analyze internal pricing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Business from four-year college or university; MBA and/or CPA looked upon favorably
- 8+ years financial and data analysis experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 3 years of corporate finance experience required
- Experience managing and operating within a matrixed organization
- Advanced PC modeling skills (spreadsheet and database)
- Experience using data cube and BI platforms (TM1/PBI systems preferred)
- Proven experience conducting complex quantitative analysis
- Broad understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (Microsoft D365 preferred)
- Experience managing highly sensitive information with extreme integrity
- Proven experience in project management
- Creative and resourceful problem solver
- Proven experience working with every level of management
- High energy level, self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication
- Available to travel both domestically and internationally
- English is essential
