Significant involvement with all areas of product and manufacturing, while also increasing visibility, communication and collaboration with key departments is instrumental in this position. This is a fully onsite role located in Fremont, CA, and will report into our Quality Manager.&nbsp;</p> <p>The main functions of the Quality Assurance role include (but not limited to):</p> <p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Collate, analyze and monitor company process &amp; quality metrics against defined objective parameters</li> <li>Write/author technical reports to management depicting the quality levels, quality problems and cost of quality.</li> <li>Optimize manufacturability, assembly, testability, cost and quality of components (in-house and purchased) and final product</li> <li>Monitor product performance/quality through gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.</li> <li>PFMEA and new program implementation including tooling and manufacturing processes to identify and mitigate risk identified</li> <li>Review, understand and ensure manufacturing process meets customer and industry specifications and requirements</li> <li>Identify/specify relevant quality-related and workmanship standards training needs.</li> <li>Offer technical expertise to company on statistics, Six Sigma methodology, tools, and best practices</li> <li>Define, develop document and implement manufacturing and assembly process and quality procedures in conjunction with department staff.</li> <li>Conduct Corrective Actions - Internal and External</li> <li>Understanding and knowledge of SolidWorks</li> <li>Maintain and report department KPI’s</li> <li>Facilitate problem solving techniques within production team (including suppliers).</li> <li>Set up and drive standard work and best practices</li> <li>Document clear project actions and enable timeline achievement</li> <li>Dev
