Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Document Control Specialist to be based in San Antonio, Texas.
The Document Control Specialist responsibilities include:
- Responsible for activities involved in records management/document control.
- Uses exposure to various analytical requirements to formulate a basic understanding of Document Controls concepts and principles.
- Provides support to proposals with exposure to various contracting methodologies.
- Supports relationships with other functions relative to Document Controls.
- Reviews expenditures for coding accuracy.
- Provides support as required to facilitate preparation of information for progress measurement.
- May assist with gathering information for tracking actual cost information.
- Exposure to the procurement process and the relationship to Document Controls responsibility.
- Manage daily tasks as assigned by Program Manager and Federal Market Sector Lead
- Ensure AECOM standards are being met
- Supports Project Team managing existing and project generated documents and reports. Responsible for ultimate project record.
- Manages the coordination, interface and interactions with internal disciplines and teams within AECOM and with 3rd parties in relation to recordable elements of a project, to ensure successful capture of the execution of project scope and/or services.
- Attend meetings as assigned, generate meeting minutes and distribute to Program Manager and project file.
- May be required to produce regular effective project reports to both Client and AECOM team leadership – weekly and monthly with program/project updates
- Assists the senior management team in devising and executing actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or schedule delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Able to pass client background screenings when required by our contract
