About the Position:

We seek an exceptional individual to join our team as the Employment Services Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator I). Reporting to the Director of Employment Services, the Employment Services Administrative Support Coordinator supports the Director and other team members on various administrative functions, creation and audit of electronic recruitment files and personnel files. This position will also assist with pre-onboarding. The coordinator provides coordination for meetings, presentations, and events. Prepares and compiles data for reports, presentations, and other correspondence. Coordinates all travel arrangements for the Employment Services team and reconciles procurement card and travel in Concur. Serves as the department information technology coordinator and is also responsible for ordering and inventory of supplies. Responsible for accurately and timely responding to customers through email, by phone and in person. Assists with pre-onboarding duties as well as all Employment services and event logistics. Provides data and informational reports as directed. Assists with the training of student assistants and decentralized campus partners as needed. Responsible for maintaining and archiving recruitment files, gathering data to create reports, and interacting with and solving problems for customers and department staff. Uses customer service and problem-solving skills to respond to applicants and customers via email, telephone, and in person. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
High School diploma or the equivalent and four years of progressively responsible experience in general office, clerical or secretarial work or the equivalent. Thorough, detailed knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, policies, and procedures. Thorough knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Thorough knowledge of office systems with the ability to use a range of technology, systems and software packages. Ability to independently handle multiple work unit priorities and projects. Ability to apply a variety of policies and procedures where specific guidelines may not exist. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures.
