Job Title: Sr. Performance TesterLocation: Scottsdale, AZ | On-site/hybrid (2-3 days in-office/week)Contract Duration: Long Term Overview: The Senior Performance Test Engineer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, modifying, and managing automated performance testing scripts. S/he must be able to communicate effectively in collaboration with the systems and development teams to troubleshoot performance and scalability issues. 6+ years of Ability to design, execute and coordinate load tests.6+ years’ Experience in load testing large and complex web/mobile applications. Responsibilities include:· Design, implement and support E2E Performance testing for Mobile/Java Based Applications.· Systems capacity planning and recommendations.· Troubleshoot Performance issues, and identify the bottlenecks by profiling and providing tuning recommendations.· Gathering performance test requirements and planning· HP/Microfocus- LoadRunner Script development and data creation· Design, Execute and Coordinate load tests· Ability to do correlation and handle dynamic request/response· Document and share Performance Test Plans and Strategy · Ability and experience testing different platforms and protocols (HTTP/Mobile/Rest) · Ability to understand NFRs and use them in real workload models· Collect metrics and put together a report· Report Analysis and review results· Multitasking and ability to switch between projects.· Troubleshooting environment and application issues using tools like Splunk/AI/Dynatrace· Strong understanding of Server, Network, Virtualization, and Database concepts.· Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), quality assurance life cycle, and testing methodologies· Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, types of system performance tests, and their goals Must-Have: · LoadRunner (HTTP/Mobile/Rest)· API Loadtesting· Test Strategy Development Desired:· POS/Payments and E-commerce background · Rest/Mulesoft loadtesting · Supply chain· JMeterGreat teams do amazing things, but truly diverse teams are the ones who can achieve extraordinary results, together.
