• DevOps Engineer

  Role Summary

  We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance our CI/CD pipelines, governance automation, and resulting developer experience.  This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous compliance solutions that enable teams to deliver enterprise software sooner, safer, and happier.  You will collaborate with developers, architects, and platform teams to build scalable, reliable and secure capabilities that accelerates software delivery.

  Key Responsibilities

  Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD)

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Harness.
• Enhance developer workflows with automated testing, deployment strategies, and rollback / fail-forward mechanisms.
• Improve build and release automation to minimize lead time and manual interventions.

• Governance and Compliance

• Develop and enforce policy-as-code solutions to automate compliance processes.
• Integrate secure software supply chain practices into build and deploy processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements without compromising developer velocity.

• Developer Experience and Platform Enablement

• Partner with platform engineering teams to enhance onboarding, tooling, and self-service capabilities.
• Optimize developer experience by reducing friction in build, test, deployment, and compliance processes.
• Advocate for inner-source principles and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing platforms.
• Provide development teams with hands-on guidance for maximizing the impact of CI / CD processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, systems administration, or related roles. Experience should include:
  • CI/CD tools such as Harness, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with Terraform / Open Tofu, Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation, or GCP Cloud Deployment Manager.
  • Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Linux systems, networking, and observability tools.
  • Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Golang.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering.
• Define and implement scalable DevOps architecture
• Define and enforce automated governance policies for security, compliance and auditing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a developer-first mindset.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale development teams in an agile environment
• Prior work in highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government) is a plus.

Compensation Range:

Total Base Pay Range 93,000.00 - 189,000.00 USD Annual
