Job description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior IT Engineer who will utilize industry and or domain knowledge and experience to perform technical analysis, develop working prototypes, and recommend best practice business changes for a DoD client and the CTO. The position requires self-motivation, strong communication and collaboration skills, creativity, a broad range of technical knowledge and skill, and the ability to perform research and develop practical, cost effective, secure, IT based solution recommendations to solve client business challenges. The Senior IT Engineer should be familiar with: Enterprise IT architecture, IT management, on premises IT platforms, compute storage networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and the concepts of Agile project management and software defined approach to infrastructure and software deployment. Deep understanding of on-premises and cloud infrastructure Business acumen with the ability to understand and map business requirements to technical requirements Supporting CI/CD tools using an Agile delivery methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Architect an end-to-end integration solution
- Drive client discussions to define the integration requirements and translate the business requirements to the technology solution
- Activities include mapping business processes to support applications, defining the data entities, selecting integration technology components and patterns, and designing the integration architecture.
Here's what you need:
- Minimum ten (10) years of general experience in any of the following: delivery of data center, enterprise services, or enterprise scale applications (500+ Users)
- Minimum Five (5) years of experience with a combination of system analysis, design, and/or implementation activities
- Minimum three (3) years of experience providing technical direction and delegating complex engineering tasks
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in design, developing, and/or deploying cloud-based systems
- Experience identifying business requirements and mapping technical requirements
Bonus points if you have:
- Deep knowledge and interest in infrastructure engineering principles and practices, and a clear ability to know how to adapt those principles to different contexts
- Security+ CE or equivalent security certification
- CSSLP, CISSP, or CISA
- Azure certification
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required, likely to obtain CI poly
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $117,000 - $214,300
Colorado: $117,00 - $185,200
New York: $108,500 - $214,300
Washington: $124,700 - $197,300
