About the role

Development of analogue and digital circuits taking into account EMC&EMI (CE, FCC, IC, CE, RED)
Verification and testing of optical and electrical applications of products
Participation in the creation of the hardware architecture: defining the concept and specifications
Supporting the lifecycle of product manufacturing including documentation
Research and development including laboratory work and prototyping
Taking responsibility on international certification (EMC, battery, product safety: UL/CSA/ETL)

Completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification
Ideally several years of experience
Experience in the area of high-speed design, power and signal integrity and EMC-compliant design
Familiarity in the field of micro-controllers
Expertise in the area of serial interfaces and buses (USB, SPI, UART, I²C...)
Dealing with modern circuit design and simulation tools (eg, Altium Designer)
Familiarity with power supply circuits and battery-powered devices
Basic programming skills and/or mechanical 3D design skills are a plus
Independent way of working, high decision-making ability, problem-solving skills and teamwork
Excellent communication skills in English and able to clearly articulate your ideas, designs and suggestions, additional German skills are an asset
