The Opportunity
Abbott is seeking a Senior Talent Sourcer / Associate Recruiter to provide candidate research, lead generation, and initial phone screening as part of an in-house executive recruitment team that supports all divisions and business functions. This sourcer will be responsible for identification and contact of passive candidates, partnering with one or more executive recruiters in support of key job openings, and a commitment to diverse slates.
Operating out of a major hub location, this opportunity offers exposure to core elements and players of the Abbott enterprise, and serves as a brand ambassador attracting top talent. It is a critical role that has a dramatic impact on candidate experience and business performance. Individuals should have years of direct responsibility for contacting, cultivating and submitting passive candidates. Experience supporting diversity recruitment preferred.
What You’ll Work On
- Source passive candidates and provide diverse slates of candidates
- Interview, evaluate and recommend candidates
- Provide recruitment and customer service for multiple client groups
- Collaborate to define position requirements, sourcing strategies and action plans
- Deliver research-oriented talent mappings and insights projects
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with recruiters and candidates
- Ensure Workday and CRM database are updated in an accurate and timely manner
- Build and maintain active CRM talent pools
- Codify and govern sourcing best practices and tools
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of career experience, preferrably in sourcing
- 1+ years of recruitment experience, where sourcing was involved
- Track record spanning 2+ industries and 2+ functional areas
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical device industry
- Experience at in-house corporations
- Experience with Fortune 500 client base
- Experience supporting Director and above level hiring
