Job Description

This position is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of environmental samples from multiple clients in the Albany area. Time is split between Courier role and Sample Technician role 50% each.

Courier duties:

• Maintain the quality, hold time, and turnaround time objectives of the lab
• Prepare and ship containers following the standard operating procedures.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle and read maps and follow direction.
• Ability to prioritize
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Sample Tech duties:

• Prepping sampling kits for clients
• Receiving coolers of samples from clients
•  Packaging sample containers to be shipped to laboratories
• Shipping using FedEx office
• Scanning paperwork into computer for tracking purposes
• Receiving packages from shipping companies
• Maintaining cleanliness of office/courier van

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

- Experience in the environmental field a must- 

50% of job is handling environmental samples

Valid US drivers license, without recent incidents

Computer skills

Ability to work with clients and to provide quality customer service

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Compensation:$17.50-$19.50/hr (DOE)

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
