Jr. Content Ops Associate

ODK Media, Inc. is a media group headquartered in Fullerton, CA, United States that provides access to premium international content through its owned and operated streaming platforms, including OnDemandKorea, OnDemandChina, and OnDemandViet. It also distributes content to global streaming services, cable operators, and movie theaters, serving as the Asian media hub for AAPI communities across the country.

We are currently looking for a Jr. Content Ops Associate to join our growing team, who will be responsible for handling content service operations.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Content Management and delivery
• Coordinate the content ingestion into the ODK Admin
• Organize the contents in the system and the Google Drive
• Ensure high-quality content experience for the ODK users
• Subtitle operations
• Using the provided software, edit or upload the subtitles 
• Communicate and schedule with the subtitle company via email
• Live contents 
• Work closely with the Marketing and Content Business team to decide content delivery
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the content
• Utilize analytic tools to track content performance and user engagement
• Generate analytic reports on content view hours 
• Work closely with the Engineering team to address any technical issues regarding video and audio quality

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in content operations within the streaming media industry highly preferred
• Bilingual in Korean & English
• Proficiency in Google Suite & Microsoft Office,  including Google Sheets & Excel
• Video editing skills are highly preferred
• Live web/app service operation & planning experience a plus
• Experience using collaborative systems such as Slack, Jira, Confluence, and others is a plus
• Strong interest and general knowledge of Korean visual content
• Has a strong sense of responsibility for work and service
• Able to collaborate with the team using excellent communication 
• Must be able to be fully onsite and come to the office Monday through Friday
• Overtime tasks may be required to communicate with the Korean branch and to operate live services
• Weekend & holiday tasks may be required

ODK Media, Inc. offers a competitive salary and benefits package.  The reasonable estimated salary for this role ranges from ($20/hr USD to $25/hr USD).  Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
