Your Impact

As a member of our Global Security Team, you will be responsible for overseeing all security operations within the Americas region, across multiple facilities and a rapidly expanding Security Force. This includes, ensuring the safety and protection of employees, facilities, assets, and operations. The role involves developing and implementing security policies, managing incident response, coordinating with law enforcement, and supervising local security teams. You will need to be a dynamic leader, one that can inspire, aim far, motivate and push the conventional boundaries of Security and boldly go where others have never been. This position will have high visibility and the potential to have a large impact at Axon, driving continuous improvement, in every facet of the Security Program.

What You’ll Do

Location: Onsite at either our Scottsdale or Phoenix AZ HQ locations, 5 days a week.

Reports To: Global Director of Security

Direct Reports: 6

· Oversee the deployment and performance of local security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating contract or in-house teams

· Develop, implement, and manage regional security strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with corporate security objectives

· Lead risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for all facilities in the region

Monitor and analyze security trends, threats, and incidents in the region and ensure timely responses

· Ensure compliance with all applicable local laws, regulations, and internal security standards

· Coordinate with GSOC Manager on crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity planning.

· Investigate security incidents, thefts, or breaches and prepare detailed reports

· Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement, emergency services, and pertinent regulatory agencies

· Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on security issues and KPI’s

· Ability to travel to sites across ICONUS

· Perform other related duties, as assigned

What You Bring

· High School Diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Security Management, or a related field or and/or 20+ years of experience in the Corporate Security industry

· Professional certifications desired (PSP/CPP/CFE/CTAP)

· Highly Proficient in the suite of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

· Exceptional leadership skills, and can positively motivate and influence team members as well as cross-functional partners

· Experience managing a guard force of 75+ guards

· Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to communicate at an elevated level

· Experience gathering and analyzing data, supporting continuous improvement at all levels of the organization

· Proven capability to plan for and efficiently lead change involving processes, policies, and/or technology

· Experience hiring personnel and conducting interviews

· Proven level of presentation skills

· A positive attitude, a win right work ethic and never willing to compromise the departments of team’s integrity

· The ability to aim far, bringing thought provoking ideas to the table for the betterment of the Department and Axon
