About the Role 
Fleetworthy is seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our sales growth by generating qualified leads and initiating meaningful conversations with prospective customers. The BDR will focus on outbound prospecting, identifying key stakeholders, and driving awareness of Fleetworthy’s value proposition in support of key initiatives. You’ll be a critical part of our sales organization, helping to fill the top of the funnel with high-quality opportunities for our Account Executive team. This is a great opportunity to gain sales experience with strategic prospects and advance within a growing sales team.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social channels. 
  • Work with various lead sources in support of strategic campaigns to qualify or disqualify based on specific criteria. 
  • Identify decision-makers and key influencers using research tools such as our 6Sense, Salesforce,  LinkedIn, Industry Media, and Google. 
  • Nurture prospects effectively until they are ready to engage with an Account Executive. 
  • Execute a consistent contact cadence to secure qualified appointments. 
  • Build rapport with prospects by offering relevant resources (e.g., webinars, white papers, case studies). 
  • Uncover customer pain points and needs by asking insightful discovery questions. 
  • Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of Fleetworthy’s solutions to articulate value and overcome objections. 
  • Maintain accurate records of all activity and prospect information in the CRM. 
  • Consistently meet or exceed activity goals related to outreach, conversations, and meetings booked. 
  • Embrace a growth mindset and bring a positive, energetic attitude to your daily work.

Qualifications 

  • 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, outbound prospecting, or lead generation. 
  • Strong communication, active listening, and storytelling abilities via phone, email,
