POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position: Program Support Specialist
Supervisor: QA Manager
Location: Mt. Scott Office
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Salary: $27.50/hr. - Eligible for Language Differential

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
This role assists the QA and Housing Department staff in maintaining the participant file archives, reviewing files to be archived, completing the monthly housing follow-ups, and other administrative tasks as requested. All work pertaining to participant files and the archives will take place in person at the Mt. Scott office. The housing follow-up portion of this role may be completed from home, but WFH cannot exceed more than half of the total hours worked in a work week. WFH may be reduced at any point and the position is expected to be in office if requested. Employees hired into this position may have the priority of their duties adjusted as needed.This is a full time, non-exempt, union represented position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of maintaining the participant file archives located at Mt. Scott, including adding new files to archives, maintaining the accuracy of organization, and removing old files that are no longer needed.
- Help case management staff or leadership locate archived participant files.
- Conduct all monthly housing follow-ups. Ensure they are completed by the end of each month while also meeting the agency established contact rate goals.
- Assist QA staff in closing files of exited participants.
- Assist QA team in additional administrative projects as requested.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
Each Transition Projects employee must:
- Acquire First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire and be retested biannually thereafter throughout employment.
- Complete Bloodborne Pathogens and Narcan Training within 30 days of hire and be retested annually thereafter throughout employment.
- Demonstrate reliability by being present for work as scheduled, arriving and leaving on time and taking breaks in expected time frames.
- Interact effectively with persons of diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, cultural backgrounds, and sexual orientations and treat each individual with respect and dignity.
- Attend agency and program staff meetings.

- Hearing and vision adequate for interaction with clients, interaction with staff and interaction
with the public, both virtually (computer or telephone) or in person. - Ability to stand for long periods of time while working in file archives. Ability to periodically lift and move heavy boxes of files.
- Hand and finger dexterity adequate to operate standard office equipment and review files.
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, sit, reach, stoop, pull, sit, squat, and climb stairs.
- Sitting at a desk completing paperwork and working on a computer for lengthy periods.
- Reasoning ability to make decisions that reflect consistency with Transition Projects
philosophy, policies, and procedures.
