Description of Duties:
The Cyber Security Lead supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
· Lead a team of Cyber security professionals, and provide guidance, training, and expertise to maximize their efforts and create a culture of excellence.
· Provide leadership to the Task Order to facilitate change and improvement in all areas of Cyber security, and actively communicate and advocate for meeting Cyber requirements.
· Integrate Cyber activities across all functional areas, and create, document, and coordinate processes across these teams to address Cybersecurity deficiencies.
· Maintain responsibility for, and provide subject matter expertise support to the Cyber security team for resolving complex Cyber security issues, including, but not limited to McAfee Endpoint Security (ESS), DoD Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
· Work with technical teams to design tailored cybersecurity capabilities that meet Cyber security requirements, including account management, addressing vulnerabilities, and meeting customer requirements.
· Create, review, and maintain Cybersecurity policy documents (including RMF) and Standard Operating Procedures to establish and maintain proper oversight of organizational Cybersecurity programs. Develop communication plans and training to accompany policy and procedures when required.
· Oversee new cyber project scope, schedule, and financial commitments supporting contract goals in collaboration with all stakeholders.
· Facilitate the containment, mitigation, and protection of all communications applications and systems when a vulnerability is identified and/or an incident occurs.
· Author and deliver proposals, status reports, and executive level presentations.
· Provide regular detailed briefings on cyber security initiatives, projects and task status.
· Coordinate all day-to-day contract cybersecurity operations, activities, and deliverables.
· Provide oversight and maintain responsibility for the development and maintenance of the ATO package.
· Provide oversight and maintain responsibility for the identification, classification, prioritization, and documentation of vulnerabilities.
· Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements and other applicable guidance.
