Job Description
Summary: It is the responsibility of this position is to manage Regional sales activities with a specific focus on a combination of Cargo, Leasing, and Latin American operators and related maintenance facilities. Candidates will be expected to independently identify and develop new strategic business development opportunities. Such opportunities could be direct sales opportunities with strategic accounts, partnerships, joint ventures or risk / revenue sharing arrangements.
Work Location: Remote work is available for this opportunity. Candidates located on the East Coast are preferred.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Personally develops and executes a business development strategy that will drive top line growth YOY and with longer term ROI.
- Provides strategic account and competitive intelligence to the sales/BD team, product/program owners and the operating units
- Develop business solutions through alliances, joint ventures and partnerships to expand the current CGT offerings and market capabilities
- Expand customer base to include MRO’s, operators, strategic partnerships, JV’s and other potential new accounts and markets.
- Ensure collaboration and communication amongst all participating stakeholder on significant regional opportunities.\
Challenges:
- This is a key position within the Sales and BD structure that will coordinate strategic business development activity with a number of leadership and sales personnel along with operating units. Establishing trust and credibility across all stakeholders will be a key success factor.

- Gaining traction on new business opportunities in cargo, leasing, and Latin American markets or accounts in the face of more established competition and/or a limited product portfolio.
- Developing key executive-level relationships with customers that will drive larger, more strategic revenue opportunities.
- Developing, managing and leveraging key internal relationships mostly from afar is critical for success.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Undergraduate degree, MBA preferred
Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience including at least 3 years in a strategic management role in a similar operating environment
Skills:
- Demonstrated gas turbine industry, account and product experience including in-depth market perspective, understanding industry trends and the competitive landscape.
