Position Summary: 

 

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to lead and support the execution of cybersecurity initiatives across our organization. This manager-level role is ideal for a candidate with a solid foundation in project management, a working knowledge of information security principles, and a passion for cross-functional collaboration.

You will coordinate across technical and business teams, manage multiple projects concurrently, and help ensure the successful delivery of high-priority security efforts in a fast-paced and evolving environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of security-related projects such as risk remediation, vulnerability management, tool implementations, and policy rollouts.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across InfoSec, IT, legal, risk, audit, and business units to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation, including action items, risks, decisions, and regular status updates.
• Proactively monitor project risks and dependencies, escalating and resolving issues as needed.
• Support program governance by ensuring alignment with internal change management and compliance requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audit readiness by tracking remediation work, documenting key milestones, and supporting evidence collection efforts.

 

Required Qualifications: 

·         5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 1–2 years supporting or delivering InfoSec / Cyber, IT or Engineering initiatives. 

·         Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 

·         Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams across departments. 

·         Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to influence without authority. 
Familiarity with information security domains, risk management, or regulatory compliance is a strong plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

·         Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

·         Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP). 

·         Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., healthcare, or SaaS). 

·         Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST CSF or CIS Controls. 

·         Experience supporting audits (SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.) or compliance-driven initiatives.
