Senior Technical Fellow - JAVA expert, Prague

Overview

e are seeking a technically oriented and self-driven individual to join our team. This role involves supporting our external customers, managing and processing data, and maintaining key systems and applications. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can leverage tools like Google, AI, internal documentation, and reverse engineering when necessary. You will often work independently in a dynamic, sometimes unfamiliar environment, requiring strong problem-solving skills and technical curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Daily duties/key responibilities:
• Communication with our external customers (in written form)
• First level of helpdesk (in written form) for WEB appliction – support of our external customers
• Prepare business/external customers reports
• Monitoring and maintenance and further development of systems and applications which are used by external customers
• Data management to fulfill our external customers needs

Qualifications

Skills required (must have):

• Technically oriented (technical background welcome)
• Programming in JavaScript (.js). JavaScript is mostly used for data management. We do not use it for WEB design and graphics purposes.
  • Move/process data from one source to another one
  • Sources are mostly databases (Postgres and MS SQL)
  • Processing CSV files
  • Processing data on given rules
  • Generating JSON files for data exchange
  • Pushing data to http:// (we use Axios library)
  • Basic knowledge of .js libraries (database, MS Graph etc.), ability to rapidly learn new ones
• Basic knowledge of SQL databases
• Knowledge of SQL scripts. Our SQL scripts often join many tables from vaious databases, ability to orient in big database schemas
• General knowledge of IT
  • Basic knowledge of MS Windows environment
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP)
  • Understanding of CMD scripts
  • File and shares permissions
• Ability to create technical documentation for new and existing solutions
• Excel skills – cells, formating, pivot tables, formulas. VBA is not necessary

 

Skills welcome (nice to have):

• PM2 process manager
• Basic experience with virtualization, currently used vmWare - vSphere
• Power shell scripting
• AutoIT or AHK scipting
• Ability do reverse engineering
• Other programming languages
• Ability to work independently on agreed commitments
