Opportunity: Corporate Counsel
Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000
Job Posting End Date: August 8, 2025
Work Designation.
- This role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week out of one of our Columbia, SC office locations. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.

Education & Experience Required
- Juris doctor from an ABA-accredited school of law
- Admitted to practice law in one state or territory of the USA
- Active member of good standing of the bar in at least one state or territory
- Ten years of law practice experience in a combination of law firm and corporate settings
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Travel
- Less than or equal to 10%
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluates potential legal issues related to negotiated legal documents and business transactions and advises management accordingly
- Evaluates the impact of new laws and regulations on our business practices
- Combines advanced legal knowledge with advanced company and industry knowledge, as they relate to the matter at hand
- Conducts extensive research regarding legal principles and precedents and consults with outside counsel on legal strategies, as needed
- Leverages an in-depth knowledge of a legal specialty or area of law to provide advice and recommendations to executives and management on highly complex matters which have or may have a material financial imp
