Program Therapist Young Adult Partial FT Days

Butler Hospital is seeking a talented and energized program therapists to treat patients in our Young Adult Partial Program. This program treats young adults ages 18-26, who are struggling with depression, anxiety and other mood related symptoms. Modalities used in this program are CBT, DBT and ACT.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician to work alongside highly talented Psychiatrists, Prescribing Nurses, Occupational Therapists and other Program Therapists as part of our outstanding team!

Job duties include a combination of evaluations, group therapy, treatment planning, individual therapy, team meetings, and outside collaboration with providers/schools, and families. This role includes treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Mood disorders, OCD, PTSD, borderline personality disorder, distress tolerance issues, interpersonal relationship issues, adjustment issues and other psychiatric concerns.

The program operates Monday through Friday and the schedule for this role is Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Requirements:

• Education: Master’s Degree
• Licensure: Independent Clinical License preferred (must be eligible to earn an independent license in state of RI or post degree working on licensure supervision hours).

• Training and Experience: Experience in a psychiatric setting is required. Training and experience in relation to the population served is necessary- Experienced in providing group and individual psychotherapy required.
• Special Qualifications: Interest and commitment in the programs at Butler Hospital and the dept of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown

• Mental Demands- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, able to collaborate and work alongside a multi-disciplinary staff and treat acute patient population
