About The Role

The AP specialist manages the full AP cycle from coding invoices, approval routings and purchase order submission. We are looking for someone who will be able to communicate effectively whether with an external vendor or an employee to address any bill or payment questions or concerns that may arise. An effective AP Analyst would have the ability to take initiative, work flexibly and with a sense of urgency. They can work independently and collaboratively with their team and across different functions efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Full Cycle Accounts Payable: initiate and review coding for invoices received within Accrualify (PO to payment system), initiate approval routings, ensure purchase orders are submitted for invoices received
• Maintain and improve vendor information, including W-9's, as needed and year-end 1099 issuance and reporting
• Review, process and manage employee expense reports, and ensure expense report compliance with Mixpanel T&E policy and are accurately uploaded to Netsuite
• Review and manage virtual credit card requests and transactions by ensure coding is correct and request is valid and in line with T&E policy and all required documentation/receipts are uploaded to Navan in a timely manner
• Track spend on the corporate credit cards, including following up with appropriate Mixpanel individual for supporting receipts, coding the expenses with the proper GL account, and uploading the statements to Navan
• Prepare monthly AP aging along with related variance analysis, prepare expense report accrual and various expense reclasses as part of our month-end close process
• Work with fellow employees as needed on AP related areas to ensure prompt approvals and submissions are maintained (PO, invoice, payment questions, employee expense questions)
• Work directly with vendors to rectify and resolve any issues with payments and credit balances
• Perform other month end tasks on AP related areas

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has

• Experience in the accounts payable function
• Internal customer service focus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to take initiative, work flexibly and with a sense of urgency, and set priorities with minimal direct supervision
• Experience with Netsuite (Bonus for Accrualify and Navan)
• Bachelor's Degree

Compensation

The duration of this role is 9 months. The compensation for this short-term employment position is $33.59- $37.32 per hour across the United States. 

Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum base for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors.
