<h2><span><b>Introduction to the job</b></span></h2><p><span>Responsible for successful execution of (cluster of) projects in accordance to agreed triple constraints. And r</span><span>esponsible through the entire lifecycle of cluster E2E (from Initiation to Design, Build and Deploy). You'll drive the execution of the roadmap.</span> You'll independently lead complex multi-disciplinary projects that contain several sub projects. These projects involve innovative and heterogeneous topics, that have long term impact. Next to that these projects typically involve several sectors or are at company level and have impact on various major business processes so it requires a good understanding of the business and interdependencies of the sectors.</p><p></p><h2><b><span>Role and responsibilities</span></b></h2><p>You'll initiate and lead the governance and delivery of major projects/cluster of projects within a function, using an appropriate project management methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes are identified and achieved<br/>You're an expert in application & review of Project Management Methodology and standards as applied within multiple sectors and lead planning and delivery of a wide range of information gathering and stakeholder consultation activities.</p><p></p><p>You'll specify, negotiate, and agree on program & project deliverables ensuring integration across the program or strategic projects. And interpret business needs and identify solution recommendations to business problems at sector level. And evaluate and communicate improvements and lead the implementation of those improvements;</p><p><br/>As Senior IT Project Manager, you’ll:</p><p></p><ul><li><p>Lead the production of and approve project plans, ensure that all activities are identified, are appropriately organized to deliver program and project objectives, comply with the organization's project and program management framework, and comply with the organization's wider governance structure and processes</p></li><li><p>Leads large project and program teams (or multiple small to medium teams); defines the project/program vision and communicates the outcomes needed along with guidance to achieve outcome, manages resources across projects/programs; negotiates flow of additional team members on and off the team as needed; and builds the capability of the team through training, coaching and mentoring</p></li><li><p>Negotiate and manage deployment of project resource budgets, providing forecasts and presenting variances with narrative at appropriate review points to ensure effective utilization</p></li><li><p>Ensure that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined within the project delivery and project management office teams, and ensures project compliance with ASML's wider program and/or portfolio management decision-making structures and processes</p></li><li><p>Manage a complex organizational environment with strategic stakeholders, needs to acquire senior management buy-in on executive level</p></li><li><p>Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and plan across the program to identify relevant stakeholders, to create mutually supportive working relationships, and to ensure that each stakeholder has an appropriate share of voice at both project and program levels</p></li><li><p>Ensure that risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints are managed appropriately at project level. Oversee cross-sectoral critical paths and risks. Where risks or issues threaten delivery of the project, develops and agrees recovery plans or, if relevant, together with sponsor/project board agrees to pauze or cancel the project</p></li><li><p>Specify and lead the delivery of the project review process to ensure that stakeholders are able to evaluate progress and agree on change at appropriate points</p></li><li><p>Lead the development and implementation of a strategy to ensure that intended business benefits are realized across a program</p></li><li><p>Give guidance and direction towards project team(s). Coach and develop project managers on overall project management skills and results. Gives feedback and (indirectly) leads, engages, motivates and inspires Project team members, -leaders and managers</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Education and experience </span><br/>To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need experience working on High Tech products and with complex processes. As Senior IT Project Manager, you’ll need:</p><ul><li><p><span>A Bachelor's degree as a minimum is required, but a Master's degree or MBA is preferred. </span><span>Certifications like PgMP or PfMP<span> </span>are a plus</span><span><span> </span></span></p></li><li><p>At least 15 years of experience in managing larger teams of specialists (10-20 FTE) with a scope of the project timelines of 1-2 years ahead</p></li><li><p>Extensive experience in managing stakeholders with opposing interests</p></li><li><p>Extensive process and organizat
