About the role

LPA is seeking a passionate Office Assistant to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members across studios on projects that are both local and across California and Texas. What you will do:

  • Oversee the general maintenance of the office throughout the week, ensuring general cleanliness, presentation and comfortability (common areas, conference rooms, kitchen).

  • Partner with the operations team to help facilitate an office refresh

  • Assist in preparing and organizing meetings, conferences and company events including catering, room set up and break down.

  • Maintain office equipment in working order (coffee machines, dishwashers, refrigerators/filters, etc)

  • Organize supply room and order supplies and services as needed

  • Corporate travel arrangements and accommodation for staff.

  • Cover front desk for breaks and vacation

  • Prepare and modify documents including reports, drafts, memos and emails

Office Assistant Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a similar role

  • Must have ability to lift 20 pounds.

  • Must be an effective communicator at all levels and enjoy working in a team environment

  • Experience with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Flexibility, collaborative, self-starter, detail oriented

The salary range for this position is $49,920 - $58,240 and is eligible for annual bonus. If you are hired at LPA, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience and/or project complexity. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
