Job Description

Opportunity

The RTS Sales Specialist plays a key role in supporting Retailer and CPG funded core retail initiatives with Vestcom accounts utilizing multiple data integrated solutions. Client and/or Territory assignment and scope will vary based on the account opportunities and candidate background. The RTS Sales Specialist working autonomously, regularly exercising independent judgment and discretion with limited supervision is responsible for ensuring client business objectives and schedules are met through proactive planning and thorough project management, thus ensuring an exceptional client experience.  The RTS Sales Specialist is the primary point of contact for assigned clients and provides day-to-day client relationship management. They autonomously provide answers and solutions for questions, problems and requests raised by clients, establishes, and maintains good relationships with all concerned parties and may identify new business opportunities for Vestcom with all groups and departments within the client account.  

Key Areas of Responsibility

This role is responsible for managing one or more client accounts and will own and independently manage all assigned duties relating to client(s) needs. Provides administrative support to the RTS Account Client Development Team. Works closely with Vestcom's client service, programming, IT, creative, delivery, production, and accounting teams across all Vestcom solutions and client deliverables.

  • Builds relationships with process owners across all functional areas between client and Vestcom.
  • Communicates effectively, plans, organizes and manages multiple projects in a timely manner.
  • Manages project timelines to completion with internal and external cross functional team members; establish and communicate clear and realistic expectations. Ensure all deliverables to clients are error-free.
  • Evaluates and independently determines when to elevate concerns and provides recommended resolutions to Vestcom management in a timely manner.
  • Uses independent decision-making to determine, identify and research inefficiencies and inaccuracies in business processes and provides recommendations and best practices to both client and Vestcom.
  • Measures performance against process requirements, service level agreements and/or quality goals.
  • Participates in the strategic account planning process with the Vestcom Commercial team.
  • Oversees and provides direction and guidance on status updates of projects and accomplishments.
  • Communicates with CPG client and retail locations as needed to ensure effective and efficient production processing. 
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders on process related changes needed for the client's systems.
  • Communicates (both verbally and in writing) in a clear, effective and professional manner at all times with all client and Vestcom cross functional partners.
  • Ensures compliance with internal policies, procedures and internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002 Section 404.

Qualifications

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field 
  • 3 - 5 years related business experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.  Previous media/retail promotions industry experience preferred
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal and written communication skills. Must be able to participate and effectively present information to large and small groups, to clients, employees, and management
  • Be able to work independently,
