Provides effective instruction in assigned graduate courses on a full-time basis. Responsible for fulfilling and sustaining the duties and functions specified by established appointment and promotion criteria, including teaching and service to the school and community. #CB
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mission Alignment
- Actively engages the Catholic and Franciscan mission and identity of Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University by modeling the Franciscan values, honoring the legacy of the founding congregation, promoting justice for the communities we serve, and integrating the Catholic and Franciscan intellectual traditions in programs, courses and services
- Teaching
- Implements curricular and instructional interventions
- Develops student learning outcomes
- Utilizes peer review and coaching
- Teaching
- Applies what has been learned from formative and summative feedback on instruction
- Engages in professional development activities to promote development in the scholarship of teaching and learning
- Advising
- Reflects on summative students’ evaluation of academic advising experience
- Assesses reports and perceptions of peers and others regarding fidelity to academic advising roles and responsibilities
- Contribution to role-related knowledge base
- Presents at local, state, national and international professional conferences
- Demonstrates publication of works identifying type (i.e., peer review), audience (i.e., journal and journal distribution), and focus (i.e., discovery, application and/or integrated knowledge focus)
- Contribution to role-related knowledge base
- Demonstrates citations of own work(s) in others’ works
- Solicits and participates in funded research (identifying specific role, funding source, and status of project)
- Professional Service
- Participates in local, state, national, or international professional agencies
- Community Service
- Actively participates in community groups and organizations, as related to the College’s mission
- Institutional Service
- Participates in committee work at the program, school, or institutional level (delineate roles and nature of participation)

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two (2) years of Nursing practice as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting
EDUCATION
- Master’s Degree in Nursing; Terminal Degree in Nursing (PhD, DNP), or a related field
SPECIAL SKILLS
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
LICENSURE
- Current Louisiana Nursing License
