Your role at Sephora:

As a Senior Engineer, Distribution Center, you will: Analyze computer system performance of all Distribution Center (DC) Systems and develop recommendations for continuous performance improvements. Perform detailed systems analysis of opportunities to design and implement innovative technical logistics solutions, both strategic and tactical. Apply Logistics Operational Process industry best practices, JDA WMS computer systems best practices, and advanced development and troubleshooting techniques to resolve logistics business incidents and quickly restore logistics computer systems service. Apply automation where possible for logistics computer systems, including: Reddwerks WES, Bastian WCS, Dematic WCS, and ProShip Parcel Shipping, to resolve issues with JDA integration. Perform systems software development using C, Java, C++, and SQL programming language for risk mitigation with critical business logistics systems, restoration of business system functionality, and to trigger alerts for any reoccurrence. [Requires domestic travel up to 5% of the time.]

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology/Systems; and

• Two (2) years of experience in the offered position, as an Engineer, or in a related position, supporting Warehouse Management Systems and JDA application development.

Experience must include:

• programming in C, SQL, and PL/SQL;
• LextEdit, Oracular Moca clients, and WinMSQL;
• SQL and JDA table structures;
• Data Driven Application (DDA) Development;
• Distribution center (DC) operational practices and procedures; and
• Windows 7 and later.
