Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience and 4 years shelters experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

    Work Location Requirement: Onsite

    Schedule: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday

    Compensation: $61,532 annually

    About the Role

    The Operations Director will: (a) oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the facility; and (b) have overall responsibility for the facility during the Director’s absence.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Establish and maintain work schedules in accordance with agency policy and assignments of staff.
    • Manage completion of time clock edits and staff attendance compliance.
    • Manage performance evaluations, promotions, disciplinary actions, and staff supervision.
    • Ensure required staff trainings are completed and conduct training as needed.
    • Participate in employment interviews and complete associated HR forms.
    • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to Case Manager Supervisors and Unit Supervisors.
    • Has on-call responsibility.
    • Promote compliance with federal, state, DHS and Veteran Administration regulations.
    • Coordinate audit preparation and corrective action plans.
    • Conduct length-of-stay reviews and case record reviews.
    • Maintain property safety, accountability, facility security, and emergency preparedness.
    • Conduct inspections of vehicles, property, and resident rooms.
    • May conduct intake assessments and facility inspections.
    • May perform all duties of a House Manager or Unit Counselor as necessary.
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
